Hello Everyone,
I am sure you would agree we have had a good and busy semester up to this point.
I am providing this calendar so that you will have a better idea of what we still have ahead of us, we have a lot of information to cover, projects to machine, and tests to take.
The following applies to you if you are in the classes taught by Jack Bollinger.
It is important that you maximize the class time we have left for this semester, to make sure that you do here are some suggestions.
1. Make sure to be on time, and prepared for class when you arrive, and stay the entire class.
2. Have all the supplies you will need each week; memory sticks, books, earphones, safety glasses.......
3. The internet
will be turned off so that you will only have access to our web page, too
much time is being wasted by
students browsing the internet and not getting their work completed.
4. You may
have to come in and spend extra time on the computers. (check with the
instructors), there will be no
extra time outside of your normal class times to work on the C.N.C. Machines.
5. Machine
time will become even more of a premium, get your setups complete, have
your material squared using
the conventional mills. We will not have enough time to use the C.N.C.
Machines to square stock to size.
Machine time will be controlled by the instructors, let them know when you would like to machine your part.
When you are ready to machine
your parts, be sure to have everything ready as not to waste time.
Machines will be cleaned at
the end of the class by the student, and checked by the instructor or the
assistant.
Machining will be terminated
at the end of official class time, we will not stay later then the close
of class.
If it appears that you are
not using machine time wisely you will be asked to take your part off the
machine so that the
other students will have a
chance to machine their required projects.
Here is a calendar that I have created to better give you an idea of the information we have to cover over the remaining time left, this is subject to change with or without notice. Remainder of the Semester Calendar
